Animal Immunization information from the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)

An entity exists on the WWW called the National Vaccine Information Center. Despite its name, this is a private-sector effort. We have chosen not to provide a hot link to it, because we believe its content relies too heavily on anecdotal, unscientific reports that border on misinformation. While we respect their right of free speech, we believe their message is misleading and potentially harmful to the public health. Used properly, vaccines are America's most effective means of disease prevention. Vaccines have saved many hundreds of millions of lives over the last 200 years.
